Prepare assigned areas properly before painting. Use appropriate painting techniques and produce a high quality of work. Repair structures and building systems. Complete work orders and perform other duties as requested. Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining structures and building systems in a satisfactory condition. Maintain supplies and equipment needed to perform daily maintenance tasks. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean, and attractive manner. Use drop cloths when necessary to avoid getting paint on floor or furniture. Clean all painting equipment and supplies using appropriate chemicals and put them away. Inform supervisor of areas needing attention or repair and of need equipment and supplies. Qualifications and Experience: Must be at least eighteen [18] years of age Must have prior experience with preparing and painting a variety of surfaces and finishes  Physical Requirements:  Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
