As a School-Based Case Manager at McPherson Middle School, you will be the bridge between clinical support and the classroom. You’ll work directly with students (ages 11–14) and their families to build resilience, teach life skills, and provide the advocacy they need to succeed. What You’ll Do: Be a Champion for Students: Provide strengths-based outreach and crisis intervention directly within the school environment. Build Essential Skills: Teach problem-solving and life skills to help students manage the unique social and emotional challenges of the middle school years. Collaborate for Success: Partner with teachers, clinicians, and families to ensure student treatment plans are effective and integrated. Navigate Resources: Link families with vital community resources and advocate for students’ rights and safety. What You Bring: A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health science field. The ability to connect with adolescents and understand the "why" behind their behavior. Strong listening and communication skills (verbal and written). A valid Kansas Driver’s License and a commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Flexibility and a "team-player" mindset to meet the needs of our families.
