The COO will oversee the firm's internal operations while helping the CEO and advisors focus on client relationships, business development, and strategic growth.

The ideal candidate is more than an administrator—they are an integrator who turns vision into execution, builds scalable systems, develops people, and helps position the organization for its next stage of growth.

scalability, consistency, and productivity.

• Oversee and optimize the firm's technology platforms, including CRM, portfolio

management, trading, and financial planning systems.

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the firm utilizes resources effectively.

Practice & Client Service Management

• Lead and support client service teams to ensure consistent, high-quality client experience.

• Build and refine processes that improve the client’s journey and allow advisors to spend

more time with clients and on business development.

• Partner with advisors to ensure accurate and timely execution of client deliverables,

including reviews, financial plans, and trades.

• Establish standards and processes that improve service quality, responsiveness, and

efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Oversight

• Partner with the firm's CCO or compliance consultant to support SEC and state

regulatory compliance.

• Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation meet regulatory requirements and are

consistently followed.

• Assist with audits, recordkeeping, policy updates, and maintenance of firm manuals.

Financial & Business Management

• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, expense management, and vendor contracts.

• Monitor key performance indicators related to productivity, profitability, client retention,

and operational performance.

• Support the CEO with strategic planning, forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.

• Help establish financial and operational discipline that supports sustainable growth.

What Success Looks Like

Within this role, success will be measured by the COO's ability to:

• Build and document core operational processes.

• Establish effective performance management and accountability systems.

• Improve operational efficiency and client service effectiveness.

• Maintain strong financial performance and controlled expense growth.

• Improve employee engagement and retention.

• Improve client engagement and retention.

• Create scalable infrastructure to support future growth.

• Allow the CEO/Owner to spend significantly more time on client relationships, business

development, and strategic growth.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal COO is a strategic and hands-on leader who combines strong business discipline with emotional intelligence. They are comfortable building systems from the ground up, leading teams, establishing accountability, solving problems, and serving as a trusted partner to the Owner.

This person will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where they can make an immediate impact, take ownership, and help build the infrastructure necessary for continued growth.

If you are an experienced operator who enjoys turning ideas into action, developing people, improving processes, and helping a growing business reach its next level, this could be an excellent opportunity.
