Fox Motors has a Driver opening in Mecosta, MI at Fox Marine Lakeside. You would contribute to our overall vision, "Working together moving people throughout life," by providing support to the office manager and dealership teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver is to deliver customer satisfaction by transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. This position emphasizes a customer-centered approach, with a mission to enhance the boating experience by delivering high-quality service and product expertise.
Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
•Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
•Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
•Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
•Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
•Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
•Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
•Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
•Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•Detail oriented.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft systems.
•2-3 years' experience as a driver. Excellent driving skills with a constant focus on safety.
•Customer Focus: Gives customers internal/external needs priority and responds quickly to customer concerns.
•Adaptability/Autonomy: Maintains a productive schedule, timeline, and goals.
•Good mechanical aptitude.
