21North Restaurant is looking for a Shift Manager/Hybrid Role
to join our team in Medfield, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will be guest, sales and team-oriented, display strong attention to detail, and maintain professionalism at all times.  The Shift Manager is a skilled multi-tasker and demonstrates creative leadership methods to motivate employees and delight guests. 

Shift Manager (Hybrid Role)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team in a hybrid role, working a mix of management shifts and front-of-house positions (server and/or bartender). This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable managing operations and working hands-on with guests. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations during assigned manager shifts
  • Lead, support, and motivate team members to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and guest experience
  • Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and shift transitions
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care

Requirements:

  • Prior restaurant experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work a combination of management and service shifts
  • Flexibility to work up to 6 days per week as needed
  • Weekend availability is a must
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
