Role: 

Provides administrative support to the Lending, Member Solutions, Mortgage Departments, and other departments as assigned, enabling them to focus on core responsibilities of their jobs.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

45%    Assists departments in the organization and scanning of member loan and various other files.

 

25%    Completes data entry duties and projects as assigned.

 

15%    Assists with phone and reception coverage and the answering of basic and initial questions.

 

10%    Assists as needed on projects as assigned.

 

5%      Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. 

 

Education: A high school education or GED. 

 

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. 

 

Other Skills: Excellent organizational and editing skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Has advanced working knowledge of credit union operations and terminology. Employee must have a valid driver’s license. 

 

Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. 

 

Work Environment: Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery.
