Nursery & Landscape Inside Sales Representative

Description

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll be a resource for our customers, helping them find the right plant material and products while delivering an outstanding customer experience from inquiry through fulfillment. You'll collaborate closely with our Outside Sales team, operations, and shipping departments to ensure customers receive the products they need—on time and with 

exceptional service. 

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Medford, New Jersey. 

What You'll Do 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landscape contractors, garden centers, and nursery customers. 
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and customized solutions based on customer needs. 
• Process quotes, sales orders, and customer inquiries accurately and efficiently. 
• Identify new sales opportunities while growing existing customer accounts. 
• Conduct daily dock and inventory checks to monitor product availability. 
• Coordinate customer pickups and work with operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. 
• Capture and distribute weekly photos of available plant material to support sales efforts. 
• Partner with Outside Sales Representatives to maximize customer success and business growth. 
• Deliver responsive, professional customer service. 
• Assist with trade shows, customer visits, and other sales initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in horticulture, nursery, landscaping, garden center operations, or a related green industry. 
• Strong knowledge of plant material, nursery products, and landscape applications. 
• Experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or business development. 
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. 
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Comfortable working collaboratively across sales, operations, and logistics teams. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn internal sales and inventory systems. 
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Medford, NJ. 
• Willingness to attend industry trade shows and visit customers when needed.
