Why This Role Matters

As a Claims Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering responsive, professional support throughout the claims process. You'll help clients navigate challenging situations with confidence while ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and seamless coordination between clients, producers, carrier partners, and internal teams.

In this role, you'll contribute to the agency's claims advocacy efforts by supporting claim intake, monitoring claim progress, maintaining accurate records, and helping clients understand what to expect throughout the life of a claim. Success comes from strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

How You'll Make an Impact

Manage claim intake and reporting activities from initial notice through carrier submission, helping ensure timely and accurate processing.
Maintain detailed claim documentation, agency management system records, and carrier communications to support efficient claim handling.
Utilize activity logging, suspense tracking, and documentation procedures to keep claim files organized and up to date.
Assist with loss run requests, data validation, and preparation of loss summaries that support informed decision-making.
Monitor claim activity and follow up with adjusters to help ensure timely assignments, updates, and resolution progress.
Coordinate claim-related information with Account Management and Risk Control teams to provide a consistent client experience.
Support claim reviews, client meetings, and ongoing communication by gathering information and maintaining schedules.
Deliver empathetic, professional service that helps clients understand claims processes and sets clear expectations.

What You Bring

Day One:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Client service mindset with a professional and empathetic approach.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, or the ability to quickly develop proficiency.

Valuable Additions:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Experience working with an Agency Management System such as EPIC or AMS360.
Interest in obtaining insurance licensing.
Interest in pursuing the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation within the next two to three years.
Previous experience supporting claims, insurance operations, or related administrative functions.

Pay Range: Posted below*

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.
