As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll be a trusted resource for clients throughout the policy lifecycle, helping them navigate coverage needs, service requests, renewals, and policy changes with confidence. Your expertise and responsiveness will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, supporting retention, and ensuring every interaction reflects the high level of service clients expect.

In this role, you'll manage a personal lines book of business while partnering with clients, carriers, and internal team members to deliver accurate, timely support. You'll leverage agency systems, carrier platforms, and your insurance knowledge to help clients protect what matters most while supporting the continued growth and success of the agency.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines accounts while delivering responsive, high-quality client support.
  • Review new business and renewal policies for accuracy and coordinate corrections to ensure proper coverage and documentation.
  • Process endorsements, policy changes, billing inquiries, and service transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues that contribute to long-term retention and client satisfaction.
  • Market new and renewal business by evaluating carrier options, comparing coverage solutions, and supporting placement strategies.
  • Guide clients through claim-related questions and connect them with appropriate carrier resources throughout the claims process.

What You Bring

Day One:

  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Associate degree.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, rating practices, policy servicing, and carrier procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and carrier online platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of client service.

Valuable Additions:

  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
  • Experience with the EPIC agency management system.
  • Experience marketing new and renewal business, including carrier selection and coverage analysis.
  • Comparative rating and technical insurance expertise.
  • Demonstrated success building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.
