Join us as we bring innovation and growth to the forefront of our industry. Job Summary The Assistant Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance functions of the company. This role ensures the integrity of financial records, implements strong internal controls, and supports the company’s financial strategy through accurate accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage Finance & Accounting Operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, general ledger, and payroll Establish & maintain accounting policies and procedures including: Process documentation, assessment, improvement and efficiency Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls Compliance with applicable accounting standards Month-end close: Ensure journal entries are properly recorded Ensure reconciliations are prepared and reviewed for all balance sheet accounts and key P&L accounts Review staff accountant reconciliations Prepare key account reconciliations Variance analysis Key metrics Support the audit process Support the budgeting & forecasting processes Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team Delegate responsibilities and set performance goals Recruit and train accounting staff as needed Work and collaborate with other departments to ensure company goals are achieved QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA preferred Big Four experience preferred 8-10 years related experience preferred 5 years of experience leading a team of financial professionals Demonstrated expertise in MS Excel, Ability to prepare and analyze monthly financial results, identify trends, and provide meaningful conclusions Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting and ability to take a stance Excellent communication, time management, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) matching, and more.
