Welder operator 2nd shift

Position Purpose:

Responsible for welding brake shoes.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.75

Essential Functions:

• Maintain Environmental Health and Safety standards in the workplace
• Loads brake shoe parts into the fixture and verify the quality of parts.
• Always keep work area clean
• Work in a safe manner always
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work well with others

 Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
• Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations

Environmental Conditions:

• Ear and Eye protection is always required in production areas
• Welders Face Shield or Goggles are always required in production area
• Exposure to a noisy work environment
• Exposure to hot and humid conditions
• Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
• Exposure to hot steel
• Exposure to fumes
• Exposure to welding arc
• Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required
