Position: Staff Accountant

 

Reports To: Corporate Controller

 

Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will play an essential role in our finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting the company’s financial health. This position involves handling general accounting tasks, financial reporting, and assisting with audits and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable and General Ledger 
  • Prepare, code and process customer invoices in accordance with internal accounting policies
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process, revenue analysis, & reconciliation
  • Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable Ledger
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, as assigned
  • Documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures related to assigned tasks
  • Cross train with other F&A team members to better assist in company goals and growth initiatives
  • Other duties as required

 

Knowledge, Skills and Education: 

  • Hands-on, team-oriented, and energetic individual who is open to interaction with other employees within the organization and who can provide additional administrative support as needed
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Experience or proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Works well under moderate supervision
  • Ability to follow established company processing procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong professional work-ethic and impeccable integrity
  • 4-6 years of General Ledger and Accounts Receivable experience in an office setting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting

 

Language, Physical, and Travel Requirements:

  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English is required
  • Proficiency in spoken Spanish is beneficial
  • Extended periods of remaining stationary and working on a computer
  • Occasionally lifting weights of up to 25 pounds
  • Located in daily commutable proximity to our Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing Center in Medley, Florida
