ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you an innovative full stack developer with a strong foundation in web development, object-oriented design, and financial/accounting systems? We’re looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge applications. If you are passionate about web application development, financial data integrity, and eager to apply your skills with the latest technologies, this opportunity is for you!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Write Well-Designed Code: Develop efficient, testable, and maintainable full stack solutions that adhere to project plans and industry standards.
  • Build REST Endpoints: Create robust RESTful services using C# and .NET Core.
  • Database Management: Design, construct, and optimize complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting functions, especially for financial/accounting systems.
  • Financial/Accounting Systems Development: Work on applications that process, report, and reconcile financial and accounting data with accuracy and compliance.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work professionally as part of an Agile Scrum Team, contributing to team goals and supporting fellow developers.
  • Mentor & Guide: Provide coaching and guidance to less-experienced developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a hands-on coding expert in software development, delivering solutions that meet business and financial needs.
  • Meet Sprint Commitments: Ensure timely delivery of tasks and actively participate in sprint planning and reviews.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in developing full stack web applications.
    • Strong background working with financial/accounting systems or applications.
    • Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Linq, and Entity Framework (EF).
    • Expert-level MS SQL skills including query tuning, stored procedures, and database design.
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, or React) and UI libraries such as Bootstrap.
    • Cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to document requirements and specifications clearly.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proven experience as a full stack developer, capable of delivering end-to-end solutions.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading; being able to lift light objects (<25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.  In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
