ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you an innovative full stack developer with a strong foundation in web development, object-oriented design, and financial/accounting systems? We’re looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge applications. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Write Well-Designed Code: Develop efficient, testable, and maintainable full stack solutions that adhere to project plans and industry standards.
Build REST Endpoints: Create robust RESTful services using C# and .NET Core.
Database Management: Design, construct, and optimize complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting functions, especially for financial/accounting systems.
Financial/Accounting Systems Development: Work on applications that process, report, and reconcile financial and accounting data with accuracy and compliance.
Agile Collaboration: Work professionally as part of an Agile Scrum Team, contributing to team goals and supporting fellow developers.
Mentor & Guide: Provide coaching and guidance to less-experienced developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a hands-on coding expert in software development, delivering solutions that meet business and financial needs.
Meet Sprint Commitments: Ensure timely delivery of tasks and actively participate in sprint planning and reviews.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in developing full stack web applications.
- Strong background working with financial/accounting systems or applications.
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Linq, and Entity Framework (EF).
- Expert-level MS SQL skills including query tuning, stored procedures, and database design.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, or React) and UI libraries such as Bootstrap.
- Cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Ability to document requirements and specifications clearly.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Proven experience as a full stack developer, capable of delivering end-to-end solutions.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs).
