Position Details
路 Position: Maintenance Technician I
路 Location: Manatee Cove, our 192-unit affordable residential community located at 746 Madelyn Way, Melbourne, FL 32901
Responsibilities
路 Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
路 Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
路 Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
路 Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
路 Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
路 Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
路 Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
路 Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
路 Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
路 Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
路 Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements
路 High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
路 Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
路 Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
路 Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
路 Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
路 Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications
路 EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
路 Valid Driver's License required
路 Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
