The Operations Program Manager serves as a strategic partner to site operations leader, driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and execution of high-priority initiatives. This role combines program management, operational leadership, and site operation support to ensure organizational objectives are executed efficiently and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, proactive, motivated and capable of managing complex projects while coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Â
Strategic Operations & Leadership Support
- Partner with site operations leader to execute strategic priorities and operational initiatives.
- Support decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and operational insights.
Coordinate leadership meetings, operational reviews, and action-item tracking. - Develop and maintain executive-level presentations, metrics, and performance reports.
- Drive accountability across teams to ensure initiatives remain on track
Project & Program Management
- Lead cross-functional projects from initiatives developed by site operations leader.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Operational Excellence
- Develop and standardize operational processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze operational metrics and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decisions.
Communication & Leadership
- Prepare executive presentations, reports, and briefing materials daily.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and operational teams.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:Â
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; capable of developing high-quality presentations and executive-level reports.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:Â Â
- SAP experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results.Experience in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is a plus.Â
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.  Â
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  Â
- Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.  Â
- The ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.  Â

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
