Position Overview: To manage, control, and improve the Process Engineering technologies at the site. Ā This role will be focused on developing process controls, standard work and managing technology roadmaps to align with the industry and customer needs. Ā In addition, leading material and equipment qualifications to support manufacturing a quality product.


Duties:Ā 

  • Lead process development, documentation, and implementation for new technology and processes.
  • Execute operational and process qualifications for new or existing processes.
  • Develop adequate controls for all processes, monitor Cpk and eliminate process variation.
  • Lead monitoring, auditing and reporting of site processes through use of metrics
  • Lead DFx Guideline Development to support optimal manufacturability and fulfill DFx requests
  • Support New Customer/Product Introductions
  • Support failure analysis
  • Lead defining the site capabilities roadmap and integrate customer technology roadmaps
  • Lead the development of Process Engineering resources
  • Assures that customer and company standards are being met, while adhering to the Quality Management System.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and training as required.Ā 
  • Supports the development of a safe, ergonomic, and environmentally sound workplace.
  • Supports and adheres to the Quality Management SystemĀ 
  • Travel to suppliers and customers as required.
  • Must be an ITAR Compliant US Person.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education/Certifications:Ā 

  • BS Degree in a related Engineering discipline required.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.


Experience:Ā 

  • Must have solid process engineering experience in the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) industry in a high-reliability environment; contract manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership and coaching/mentoring skillsĀ 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills - written and verbalĀ 
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills and possess good analytical, verbal and written communication skillsĀ 
  • Experience with customers on identifying and suggesting DFx opportunities.
  • Experience with RoHS and familiar with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, self-direction, and self-discipline to plan and accomplish objectives and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Exhibits a ā€œCan-Doā€ attitude and actively seeks for solutions to problems; good team player with pleasant personality.Ā 


Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while operating testing equipment and reviewing technical documents.
  • Regularly moves within the production floor to support testing activities and access test fixtures or equipment.
  • Frequently operates and adjusts test equipment, including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and ATE systems.
  • Occasionally positions self to access and troubleshoot equipment at varying heights.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates and resolve testing issues.
  • Occasionally moves and transports tools, components, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
