What You Will Contribute:
The Senior Manager, Project Delivery & Systems Operations provides strategic leadership for the Project Delivery, System Integration, and Field Support & Controls teams. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of customer projects from initial proposal through design, programming, installation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance.
This leader will drive operational excellence by developing high-performing teams, optimizing resources, standardizing processes, and fostering a culture focused on safety, accountability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and operational expertise with the ability to lead complex projects, build cross-functional partnerships, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Project Delivery, System Integration, and Field Support & Controls teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Build a high-performing organization through talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Establish goals, KPIs, and operating standards that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective staffing, resource planning, and workload management across projects and service activities.
- Oversee the successful execution of customer projects from quotation through installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Provide leadership for controls design, system integration, programming, testing, technical documentation, and field support activities.
- Drive process standardization and operational improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Monitor project and operational performance through KPIs, reporting, and portfolio reviews.
- Lead the resolution of customer escalations, technical challenges, and project execution issues while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Finance to support business growth and project success.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams within project management, controls integration, field services, operations, or a related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Florida Contractor's License.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training and certifications.

- Strong understanding of industrial automation, electrical controls, systems integration, and project execution.
- Experience managing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Proven success leading technical and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including project cost control and profitability management.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, project management software, scheduling tools, and reporting platforms.
