Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:

 

-Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractor crews across job sites.

-Ensure all work meets company quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.

-Schedule crews and allocate work efficiently to maximize productivity.

-Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and address issues promptly.

-Resolve field issues and provide solutions to keep projects on schedule.

-Verify required licensing, insurance, and compliance documentation.

-Build and maintain relationships with skilled installers

-Coordinate with project managers, office staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

-Ensure materials and equipment are available before work begins.

-Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

-Ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to company standards.

-Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

-Develop and maintain a reliable network of qualified subcontractors to ensure adequate staffing for current and future -projects.

-Monitor subcontractor performance through regular job site visits, quality inspections, and production tracking.

-Maintains a safe work environment.

-Performs job functions safely at all times.

-Participates in all safety meetings.

-Communicates all concerns or violations to appropriate manager(s) immediately.

-Uses the proper Personal Protective Equipment when performing work duties. Employee wears the proper shoes, glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc. Employee is properly attired to perform their job safely (no loose-fitting clothes, unsafe jewelry, etc.).

-Disposes of waste properly.

-Abides by all local, state, and Federal laws; reads, understands, and agrees to follow the policies outlined in the Company Safety Manual and Company Handbook.

-Demonstrates behaviors aligned with our Core Values at all times.

-Continuous Improvement

-Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

-3 years of supervisory experience in a building materials yard, warehouse, or distribution environment

-Acute attention to accuracy and details

-Prior leadership or supervisory experience

-Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus

-Ability to train, coach, and develop crews to meet operational standards

-Strong working knowledge of building materials, construction supply products, and safe handling practices

-Ability to foster a respectful and collaborative team environment that prioritizes safety, accountability, and service

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in all weather conditions, and operate heavy machinery

-Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in a yard operation environment

-Proficient in relevant computer applications

-Google Suite, Salesforce (or comparable CRM system)

 

Licenses and Certification Requirements

-Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
