$22-$26 per hour

Help with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the nursing home, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep.

Conducted preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facility systems operated safely and efficiently.

Responded promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.

Assisted with room setup, furniture assembly, and moving equipment as needed.

Help maintained the exterior of the facility

Help performed regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards and maintenance issues.

Ensured compliance with safety regulations and infection control standards in a healthcare environment.

Worked independently and as part of the maintenance team to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Basic knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond promptly.

Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents, visitors, and staff.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to maintain a safe environment.

Reliable attendance and flexibility

Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred but not always required.
