Summary:  

 The Arbitration Award Specialist is responsible for contacting insurance carriers to solicit payment of No-Surprise Act awards issued to the company’s clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily Review the company’s databases to determine the status of payment of favorable payment awards issued to our clients
  • Contact relevant insurance carriers to solicit the awarded payment 
  • Coordinate and maintain all arbitration schedules, deadlines, and arbitration calendars.
  • Draft, proofread, and format routine correspondence and arbitration documents conforming to applicable rules.
  • Meet weekly with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Director of Operations, and in-house counsel to review arbitration issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or the COO.

 Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with medical collections preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficient in database management and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently
