About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe handling, storage, and internal movement of fine art and high-value goods within a fully temperature-controlled warehouse. This role supports the logistics and preservation of artwork, antiques, and luxury items while following strict internal standards and environmental protocol
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds or more.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and barcode scanning systems.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills to effectively work within a team and report to supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily warehouse operations and resolve issues promptly.
