As a Music Therapist You will:    Â
- Assess patients’ functional status, musical responses, and preferencesÂ
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goalsÂ
- Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listeningÂ
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly and update care team Â
- Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in patient conditionÂ
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated careÂ
- Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiativesÂ
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plansÂ

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in music therapy from an AMTA-approved programÂ
- Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMTÂ
- Preferred: 2 years clinical music therapy experienceÂ
- Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicleÂ
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsÂ
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life issuesÂ
