The Dietary Cook is responsible for the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Dietary Department. Key Responsibilities include:. The Dietary Cook will also be responsible for the following; Provide nutritional and attractive meals for patients, Maintain and organized and sanitary environment, Ensure proper storage of food and supplies and ensure compliance with all Federal and State Laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and with JCAHO standards for the quality of patient care.

Position Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Prefer prior dietary experience in a facility, health care setting. Prefer knowledge of equipment usage including (not at all inclusive list); stoves, ovens, steamer, fryer, grill, electric mixer, dishwashing machines, microwave, food charts.
