Job Description

The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of 
provider data within the credentialing and network database system. This role plays a critical part in 
supporting credentialing operations, provider onboarding, and regulatory compliance through data 
validation, system optimization, reporting, and cross-departmental collaboration. The analyst ensures that 
provider records are maintained according to established standards and supports initiatives to enhance 
data governance across the organization.

Job Responsibilities
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of provider data across all credentialing software platforms (e.g., 
MD-Staff, Cactus, Credential Stream), including demographic, licensure, certification, and 
privileging information.
• Conduct regular audits and data quality checks to identify discrepancies, duplicates, or incomplete
records and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a liaison between the credentialing team, IT, and system vendors for technical 
troubleshooting, updates, and improvements.
• Develop and maintain custom and ad hoc reports to support credentialing, enrollment, privileging
and compliance needs.
• Support process automation and workflow enhancements to improve data entry, tracking, and 
communication.
• Manage user access rights, monitor data usage patterns, and ensure compliance with privacy and
security policies.
• Document data management procedures, data definitions, and workflow standards to support 
training and consistency.
• Collaborate with teams across credentialing, provider enrollment, contracting, and quality to align
and streamline provider data practices.
• Participate in system implementation projects, upgrades, and data migrations with attention to 
detail and data integrity standards.
• Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory surveys related to data integrity and system configuration.
• Completes duties as assigned.
