We are seeking one outstanding candidate for postdoctoral fellowship positions in the HPV Cancer Prevention Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The postdoctoral positions offer an intensive, mentored training experience in implementation science, community-engaged research, health equity, and cancer prevention through HPV vaccination. Postdoctoral fellows will be encouraged to support the research foci of the

and develop their own research programs in implementation science with a specific focus on HPV vaccination or other related topics (e.g., health equity, partner and engaged research approaches, building vaccine confidence, supporting vaccinations in clinical and community settings, public policy and advocation, communications, etc.) using implementation science frameworks.


Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively with new and established program partners in support of research activities.
2. Gather, analyze, and interpret data (primary and/or secondary data) to answer key research questions related to the aforementioned research areas to contribute to the science, generate new knowledge, and/or inform HPV Cancer Prevention programmatic responsibilities.
3. Disseminate findings through scientific manuscripts as lead author and co-author, white papers, lay summaries, present research at conferences, and submit at least one funding application.
4. Participate in team and professional development offerings for career enhancements and personal growth.


Eligibility:
Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and a PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree in health services research, behavioral science, epidemiology, public health, or related field and experience or demonstrated interested in implementation science, cancer prevention/control, and community-engaged research.
