Now Hiring: Experienced Business Development Representative (BDR)
Location: [Memphis, Tennessee, and Louisville, Kentucky/Remote/Hybrid]
Company: General Parts, LLCÂ
Experience: 2+ years outbound BDR / SDR experience preferred
Â
This is not an entry-level role.
We’re looking for an experienced BDR who already knows how to create pipelines, handle rejection, and run a disciplined outbound motion — and wants to get even better. Preferably with a background in the Food Service Industry
If you’ve been through cold calls, quiet weeks, tough prospects, and still show up with consistency, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Own outbound prospecting into targeted accounts
- Build pipeline through cold calls, email, and internal reports
- Research accounts and tailor messaging to real business problems
- Book qualified meetings and set up clean handoffs to operations
- Maintain accurate activity, notes, and follow-ups in a CRM
- Use CRM and sales tools to run an organized, repeatable process
- Take coaching seriously and apply feedback quickly
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years as a BDR/SDR in an outbound environment
- Hands-on experience using CRM daily (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
- Comfortable tracking activity, managing follow-ups, and keeping clean pipeline data
- Can clearly explain how you generate meetings
- Stay consistent even when prospects don’t respond
- Want to be coached and improve week over week
- Care about doing the job the right way, not just hitting activity numbers
What Separates Top Performers Here
- Treat the CRM as a performance tool, not an admin task
- Strong account research before outreach
- Clear, confident first conversations
- Structured follow-up (not hope-based selling)
- Emotional control when deals stall or fall through
- Ownership of results — no excuses
What You’ll Get
- Clear expectations and structured coaching
- A manager who values discipline, feedback, and development
- The chance to raise the bar, not just hit it
- A real path forward for top performers
This Role Is Not For You If
- You avoid CRM usage or see it as busywork
- You rely heavily on scripts with no personalization
- You expect marketing to do the heavy lifting
- You avoid feedback or structure
- You want a quick steppingstone without mastering the role
