About the program:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of clinical services and individual supervision at Womanspace Empower and Womanspace Philadelphia. Provide clinical support and leadership to staff and participants. Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of programmatic systems. Works with Program Director to develop new strategies to ensure needs and best practices are incorporated into the program design. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.Ā 

This program is a Residential drug and alcohol treatment program serving the transgender and gender expansive community Director oversees clinical programing, daily operations, ensure compliance with HR and clinical charts, provides on call support. Ensure RHD Values and Trauma Informed care are reflected at program. Maintain census, oversee billing and budget. Mange/oversee authorizations ( fee for service funding) Strong knowledge and understanding of substance use and trans expansive care/respect for pronouns Familiar with needs of homeless population experience with grant writing a plus (not at all required but a benefit) maintain program visibility with community stakeholders continue partnerships with LGBTQIA+ organizations maintain presence in community (program gets a lot of recognition on social media) program is 3.5 level of care with ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) tool used to meet criteria/medical necessity for admission an ongoing treatment open to obtaining licensure
DIRECT DUTIES:Ā 

Responsible for overall clinical coursework, such as clinical interventions, PIR follow-ups, and coordination of clinical services

Ā ļ‚· Oversee and coordinate all in-house clinical services including individual and group therapy.Ā 

ļ‚· Oversee PIR assessment and evaluation process, as well as ensuring the completion and accuracy of clinical documentation

Ā ļ‚· Perform case consultation with others professional, external, and internal to gather a better perspective around participant’s quality of care, progress, and service integrity

Ā ļ‚· Continuously assess effectiveness of treatment interventions

Ā ļ‚· Audit progress notesĀ 

ļ‚· Oversee the data entry of notes and other documentation required by CBH and RHD into required database systems; RHD Electronic Health Record (EHR) Responsible for primary communication and coordination of services with the Nurse and Psychiatrist

Ā ļ‚· Participate in the program referral process including conducting initial assessment of PIRs while incarcerated or hospitalized

Ā ļ‚· Coordinate with program leadership team on coverage issues and anticipate crisisĀ 

ļ‚· Participate in team meetings and evidence base practice

Job Qualifications:Ā 

ļ‚·Ā Have a working knowledge of corporate and program policies and procedures

Ā ļ‚· Good communication skills (written and oral)Ā 

ļ‚· Ability to manage multiple tasks or projectsĀ 

ļ‚· Demonstrate good problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Ā ļ‚· Be 21 years of age or older ļ‚· Basic working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programsĀ 

ļ‚· Possess a valid driver's licenseĀ 

ļ‚· Ability to carry out duties without direct supervisionĀ 

ļ‚· Subject to employment screenings, including PA State Criminal History & FBI clearance, if applicableĀ 

Education and Experience:

  • Ā  At least four (4) years of direct care, mental health and work experience.Ā 
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a discipline, such as: Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working with the chemically dependent person.Ā 
  • Master Degree plus 2 years experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting
