The position is based in Memphis, TN, with potential travel to other sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce and maintain single-line diagrams, three-lines, panel schedules, cable schedules, conduit and raceway layouts, grounding plans, and equipment elevations.
  • Perform load calculations, voltage drop, cable ampacity and derating, conduit fill, and pull-tension analysis including long underground runs.
  • Size MV/LV transformers, switchgear, busway, and feeders; specify impedance, BIL, temperature rise, and short-time ratings.
  • Write equipment specifications and technical bid evaluations for ring-main units, transformers, switchgear, busway, and PDUs.
  • Supply model inputs to protection and power-system studies: nameplate data, impedances, cable constants, and as-designed configurations.
  • Resolve field RFIs and issue design changes during construction.
  • Maintain organized design and asset documentation for Data Center electrical packages.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 70, 70B, 70E, NESC, and IEEE standards, prioritizing safety and engineering excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
