Make a Real Difference in Rehabilitation
Are you a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant looking to elevate patient care? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll help Physical Therapists provide physical therapy treatments and procedures, advocating for patient recovery and contributing to our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients as they practice exercises or functional activities.
Observe patients during treatments to evaluate data and provide results to the physical therapist.
Confer with physical therapy staff to discuss and evaluate patient information for coordinating treatment.
Communicate with and instruct caregivers and family members on patient therapeutic activities.
Transport patients to and from treatment areas, lifting and transferring according to positioning requirements.
Administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, and modality treatments.
Fit patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Associate’s degree or certification from an approved physical therapy program.
Skills:Â Excellent customer service, patient care skills, and basic understanding of medical terminology.
Experience:Â Clinical experience included in course study; long-term care experience preferred.
Physical Readiness:Â Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, positioning, and prolonged standing.
