Job DetailsJob Location: Memphis, TN 38118Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: EngineeringThis entry-level engineer is responsible for supporting production processes, learning manufacturing systems, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives under close supervision.   This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.   Assist in developing and maintaining standard work instructions Support process troubleshooting on the production floor Collect and analyze basic production data (scrap, cycle time, downtime) Participate in Lean / Six Sigma projects (often as a team member) Help implement process improvements and cost reduction ideas Support tooling, fixtures, and equipment setup Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Work with operators and technicians to resolve day-to-day issues Qualifications BSME or equivalent 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment Introductory Lean concepts (5S, waste reduction) CAD exposure (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Excel / basic data analysis
