About the Role

McKesson is seeking a Material Handler to support our pharmaceutical distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, inventory control, and shipment of pharmaceutical products while ensuring compliance with Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requirements.

As an experienced warehouse professional, you will utilize warehouse systems, material handling equipment, and inventory control processes to maintain product integrity and support the efficient flow of healthcare products throughout our distribution center.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Receive, inspect, and verify inbound pharmaceutical products and materials for accuracy and quality.

  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products throughout the warehouse.

  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to document inventory transactions and product movement.

  • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.

  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and inventory reconciliation.

  • Ensure compliance with DSCSA requirements, company policies, quality standards, and warehouse procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience

  • Experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter and track inventory data.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices, or regulated distribution environments.

  • Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse best practices.

  • Understanding of DSCSA requirements or pharmaceutical supply chain operations.

  • Forklift certification or previous powered industrial truck experience.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Position is fully onsite within a distribution center environment.

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Requires use of RF scanners, warehouse technology, and computer systems throughout the workday.

  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
