Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Memphis features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/ Surge and Telemetry.Â
Intern Pharmacist PRN Rotating Position Summary
The individual in this position, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, will assist the pharmacist in the efficient and accurate preparation, dispensing and delivery of pharmaceuticals and supplies. This individual will be a pharmacy student and the specific duties and responsibilities of the intern’s involvement is directly related to their academic standing or year of professional education.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
Required: Actively enrolled in an accredited college/ school of pharmacy and demonstrating progress to completing the program.
Experience Preferred: Prior experience
Certifications Required: Registered Pharmacy Technician license. Pharmacy Technician certification (both based on state requirements)
