Production Supervisor - 
 
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for JBS/Memphis Tn. Plant.
 
This position will be responsible for supervision of all aspects of assigned production meat line(s). Take directions from the Production Manager on scheduling, line preparation, and meat production execution. Direct supervisor for assigned production employees. Manages production for day-to-day control of assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules of priorities, production flow, and processing specifications to ensure production efficiencies are met. Evaluates assigned work performance and takes corrective action. Leads, coaches, and trains assigned personnel to work standards and ensured said standards are being followed constantly.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  1. Effectively manages assigned personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
  2. Monitors and supervise all aspects of assigned production line(s).
  3. Assumes responsibility for production quality and continuous improvement.
  4. Assumes responsibility for production-related communication flow and coordination between line workers.
  5. Ensure that all administration tasks are completed timely and accurately.

  7. Meat Manufacturing experience preferred
  8. Assumes other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  •  Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
  •  Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
  •  Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.
  •  Average, ordinary visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.
  •  Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Bilingual preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently below freezing, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays.
