Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Trezevant Episcopal Home - Memphis, TN 38111Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $12.00 - $12.00Job Shift: AnyJob Category: Health CareSUMMARY OF POSITION The Server in the Assisted Living and Health Center are responsible for serving meals to residents.  Depending upon resident needs, meals may be served in dinning room or residents may take meals in apartment.  Following appropriate dietary restriction for each resident is mandatory so as to keep upmost standards of safety in tact for all residents.  Knowing or learning Health Department Safety rules and following rules is a standard for cleanliness and safety.   PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assume duties and responsibility of wait staff as required; Greet and seat residents in Dining room; explain menu and answer questions concerning food preparation; Take meal request in a professional manner and always be nice and kind; Make sure all meal requests are met in timely order and treat all residents with respect; Understand the importance of Food Safety and handling procedure and adhere to it strictly;   Always wear appropriate uniform and be clean and presentable;  Make sure you follow appropriate guidelines for type of meal resident is being served;   LICENSE/ EDUCATION Must be at least 16 years old; valid high school diploma or GED preferred.                                                                                         Qualifications
