Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of diesel technician training, work experience, or a combination of education and hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment is preferred. Candidates with less than 3 years may be considered based on the depth and relevance of their combined education and experience. Experience with John Deere equipment is highly desirable. High School Diploma or GED required; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal education. Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications. Must provide and maintain a personal set of tools necessary to perform assigned job duties.
