Responsible for overseeing Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims across Company administered by claim service providers and driving optimal outcomes, serving as primary liaison for both internal and external stakeholders for claim-related issues.

Essential Functions

  • Provide oversight for WC claims meeting established criteria/thresholds within defined geographic area, in compliance with oversight guidelines and expectations.
  • Utilize metrics and dashboard reporting to identify focus file WC claims for oversight.
  • Serve as liaison to internal and external stakeholders for WC claim specific related matters (e.g., investigation, RTW accommodation escalations).
  • Authorize WC reserves and settlements at established authority levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/or equivalent in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years experience with Worker’s Compensation claims.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent human relations, oral and written communication, analytical, problem solving, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
