Responsibilities

• Perform truck and trailer repair
• Perform emergency on the road repair
• Diagnose and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.
• Perform repair and maintenance of containers
• Must maintain preventative maintenance schedules, garage and maintenance area
• Must order and maintain parts inventory

Qualifications

• Must possess State of Michigan truck mechanic certifications and CDL - A
• Must have welding and fabrication skills
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours which may include nights and weekends
• Ability to perform truck and trailer repair, emergency on the road repair
• Ability to perform emergency on the road repair and diagnosis and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.
• Ability to perform repair and maintenance of containers
• Comply with Federal DOT inspections and record keeping
• Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
• Knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems
• Be able to supply own basic tools
