Summary/Objective​

The Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and optimization of all inventory processes within the operation. This role leads inventory control efforts, resolves discrepancies, collaborates closely with customers to ensure fulfillment accuracy, and delivers timely reporting and data insights to support business performance.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, operational discipline, and proactive communication skills to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: 

Inventory Control

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all SKUs and locations.
• Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including receiving, shipping, and system variances.
• Oversee and approve inventory adjustments in accordance with company policy.
• Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper receiving processes and documentation to minimize errors and shrinkage.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Customer Collaboration

Reporting & Data Analysis

Leadership

• Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for employees.
• Manage site hourly and exempt employees.
• Conduct employee performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of inventory management or supply chain experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP, or equivalent).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead inventory audits and process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with experience supporting customer-facing interactions.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (verbal/written), converse with, and exchange information with others. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally move between their workspace and office machinery. The person in this position must operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator; pull/retrieve/file documents in a filing cabinet. May need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally move throughout a warehouse environment, including standing and walking for extended periods. The employee must be able to navigate diverse environments and remain physically active throughout the workday.
