We’re seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Inventory Lead to join our Central Fill Pharmacy team. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee key inventory functions and serve as the primary liaison for customer-facing operations. You’ll manage everything from backorders and returns to formulary updates and inventory reconciliations—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you’ll collaborate across departments to support billing, reporting, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for customer communications and issue resolution; managing backorders by sourcing through McKesson or identifying alternative NDCs; processing mail order returns and executing formulary updates based on pricing and availability; supporting monthly billing for prescriptions, supplies, shipping, and returns; reconciling bi-weekly shipping data and generating customer-facing reports; overseeing receiving, put-away, and inventory decrement processes with a focus on accuracy; leading cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and loss prevention initiatives; training and mentoring new inventory team members to ensure SOP and regulatory compliance; collaborating with operations to optimize inventory slotting and drive efficiency; and other duties as assigned. Requirements include 6+ years of relevant experience in inventory or pharmacy operations, active or eligible for a Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License, proficiency in Microsoft Office, at least 1 year of hands-on inventory experience, experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems, familiarity with warehouse management systems, strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work in both office and warehouse environments, and capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
