Position Summary
The Project Manager will support the Baptist Cancer Center leadership team in implementing the MidSouth Miracle program across all BMHCC sites. This role serves as a key liaison between sites, provides administrative and operational support, and assists with oncology research initiatives aligned with program goals. Occasional travel is required.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Cancer Center leadership to develop, implement, and enhance lung cancer care delivery models
- Collaborate with multiple sites to identify gaps, challenges, and progress toward organizational goals
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and facilitate meetings with stakeholders
- Identify barriers to program execution and lead cross-functional solutions
- Support strategic planning efforts with system and site leadership
- Serve as a resource to educate staff on MidSouth Miracle program initiatives
- Maintain accurate tracking of program data, site resources, and structures
- Manage and distribute monthly performance and operational reports
- Assist with financial projections, budgeting, and sustainability planning
- Participate in grant writing and research protocol development activities
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, research, business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, research, or project management
- Oncology and/or project management experience strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and industry trends
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships across departments
Licensure / Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required

- Exposure to healthcare environments, including potential biological and environmental hazards
