Pre-Employment Instructor

POSTION:    PreEmployment Instructor

JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Pre-Employment Instructor must be energetic, have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and love teaching and serving youth. 

The Instructor will primarily work with students with disabilities (ages 14-22) during school hours; facilitating individual and group sessions that help students work towards their employment goal. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Lesson planning and student instruction
2. Facilitate job skills training and job readiness training classes 
3. Assist individuals in developing career goals, skills training, job readiness training and other activities related to employment
4. Communicating effectively with administrators, parents, and staff
5. Maintaining accurate records
6. Complete monthly reports 
7. Complete daily sign in sheets  

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree
• (1) year experience in employment education, social work, human resources, business, counseling, job placement, job coaching or a public vocational rehabilitation program 
• (6) months professional experience working with individuals with disabilities 
• Ability to work independently 
• Reliable Transportation
