Morning Cashier

As a morning cashier, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience.

Summary of the position:

Our cashiers provide superior customer service! They are exceptional at promoting our store PERX loyalty card. Our cashiers process all forms of payments, EBT, coupons, and in store discounts appropriately. They learn to follow proper bagging techniques, gain knowledge of product location, and maintain understanding for the company's weekly sale items. At times, cover the self-service lanes to assist customers as needed. Most importantly, our front end team adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products.

What we look for in you:

Part time availability - working at least 2 days during the week and 1 weekend shift

Grocery and/or retail experience preferred

Exceptional communication skills

Highly motivated individual

Team player with the ability to work independently at times

Ability to multitask

Focused, efficient with attention to detail

The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
