Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: RGL MSP - Mendota Heights, MN 55120Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 HourlyDriver Mendota Heights, MN | Full-Time | On-site | $20.00 - $25.00 hourly range Position Summary The Driver position at Radiant plays a key role in supporting operations by safely transporting goods, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This position involves a variety of transportation-related responsibilities and requires adaptability to meet business and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Safely operation company-owned and leased trucks for shipping, receiving, pickup, and delivery. Provide excellent customer service during all delivery and pick-up interactions. Plan routes to ensure efficient and economical use of time and equipment. Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report any mechanical issues. Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation. Communicate delays, accidents, or other transportation issues as they arise. Maintain company vehicles and equipment in clean and serviceable condition. Perform other duties as assigned to support overall station operations. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of relevant driving or delivery experience. Familiarity with the Greater Twin Cities geography preferred. Licensing, Clearance & Driving Requirements Valid driver’s license required Must be eligible for TSA and FAA security clearances (training provided) 21+ years of age Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical exam Satisfactory driving record Technical & Professional Skills Proficiency in operating trucks, vehicles, and related equipment. Ability to monitor vehicle gauges and systems to ensure proper operation. Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and timeliness. Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written). Team-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Mathematical & Language Skills Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Able to read and interpret maps, schedules, instructions, and correspondence. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating clearly with team members, customers, and partners. Work Schedule, Environment, & Physical Demands Schedule Work a set schedule of eight hours per day, including required meal and rest breaks. Consistent punctuality and reliability expected. Must ensure coverage of responsibilities when absent. Environment Moderate noise levels in office and warehouse settings. Work performed both indoors (climate-controlled office/warehouse/vehicle) and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold. Physical Demands Regularly required to walk, sit, reach, talk, and hear. Frequently required to stand, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Starting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
