Responsibilities
- Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch.
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.
- Telecommuting from anywhere in United States is allowed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
- Requires 3 years of experience involving the following:
- Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
- Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
- Prototyping
- Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography
- Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
- Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
- Defining product specifications and user experiences
- Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
- Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
- Building and shipping applications or software at company-level scale
- Leading end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company and
- Partnering with cross-functional partners to drive product strategy with a user-centric approach leveraging design thinking methodologies and best practices
$210,090/year to $223,850/year + bonus + equity + benefits
