Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
- Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and other information security/privacy stakeholders across the company, including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
- Research and stay up to date with information security and data protection trends and will recommend improvements to consumer product teams and other privacy stakeholders.
- Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions related to Meta’s privacy review process.
- Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.
- Responsible for relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional teams, especially to facilitate collaboration on information security and privacy processes and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or in an information systems-related occupation
- Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
- Program management, strategy, management consulting, communications, operations privacy policies, or regulations
- Privacy or technology law
- Managing projects
- Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements on a project
- Privacy or security risk evaluation of new products or features
- Working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions
- Managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
$210,830/year to $219,263/year + bonus + equity + benefits
