Responsibilities
- Own technical program management for a core area of Meta's infrastructure software stack, spanning platform strategy, technical design, delivery, and partner adoption
- Partner with Engineering and Product to define the multi-quarter roadmap: shaping feature plans, participating substantively in technical design and API/interface design reviews, and making tradeoff recommendations that leadership acts on
- Drive platform adoption end to end — defining the onboarding path for partner teams, removing friction in integration, and holding the bar on the partner experience from first evaluation through steady-state production use
- Translate the needs of demanding internal customer organizations into platform requirements, and broker the prioritization conversations required to land them
- Define and instrument the metrics that determine whether the platform is succeeding — adoption, reliability, efficiency, and developer/agent effectiveness — and use them to drive decisions rather than to report status
- Lead technical discussions and act as a thought leader in program and design reviews; be the cross-functional partner engineering leaders pull into their hardest problems
- Identify and solve systemic problems that span organizational boundaries, and build the lightweight operational constructs that accelerate team momentum without adding overhead
- Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management across a portfolio of concurrent technical programs
- Articulate technical vision, requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders up to and including VP-level leadership
- Provide hands-on program management through design, development, testing, rollout, and post-launch phases
- Mentor and raise the bar for other technical program managers, and influence how TPM is practiced across the broader organization
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management
- Experience delivering technical platforms or infrastructure software programs from inception through production adoption
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs with significant organizational impact
- Experience driving strategic technical initiatives and influencing roadmaps across multiple engineering teams
- Experience with platform or developer-facing software, including API and interface design, partner onboarding, and adoption of a platform by teams outside the one that builds it
- Experience working with AI/ML or agentic systems, and translating their requirements into platform and infrastructure decisions
- Experience with executive-level communication, including presenting to and influencing senior leadership
- Experience navigating ambiguity and defining structure for complex, multi-quarter technical programs
- Experience communicating and translating between non-technical and technical requirements and audiences
- Experience mentoring and developing other technical program managers
- Experience establishing working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and partners in multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or operating agent-facing platforms, tooling, or APIs, including agent orchestration and evaluation
- Experience partnering with large internal customer organizations to migrate them onto a shared platform
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience defining and driving developer or platform effectiveness metrics
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure — training, inference serving, or the software layers that sit on top of them
