Job Summary

The Access Program Manager oversees the successful execution of a portfolio of strategic projects within the Access team, emphasizing proactive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational alignment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Translating enterprise strategic goals into programmatic and departmental priorities.

• Developing creative, audience-focused communication strategies based on purpose, available tools, and adult learning principles.

• Planning, organizing, monitoring, and overseeing multiple projects to meet business specifications.

• Defining, tracking, and managing critical inputs (e.g., communication timelines, audience-specific content, venues, and change impact assessments).

• Applying accepted project and change management methodologies to drive adoption of key enterprise programs.

• Crafting compelling narratives, developing presentation materials (primarily PowerPoint) using stories and data, and coordinating targeted messaging.

• Integrating strategic planning, performance measurement, stakeholder engagement, tailored communication protocols, and robust change management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the team


EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing programs or key processes related to Access, healthcare transformation, or healthcare technology implementation required. Experience in customer-facing role (internal or external) is required. Experience in developing functional specifications is also required. A minimum of 7 years of direct experience in project or program management (or related responsibilities) within the health care field is highly preferred. Experience with organizational change is highly preferred. Previous experience with larger scale enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio preferred. Experience with transformation related to Epic or other healthcare software preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.

Epic Cadence.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) or related software packages to analyze data and report on/present conclusions while maximizing the benefits of technology to complete the job. Writing, analytical and leadership skills, as well as ability to present detailed information in large group and executive level settings. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work with leaders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. Very strong in majority if not all of these categories: • Critical thinking/problem-solving skills: capable of leading broad set of executives through a complex problem-solving process; • Analytical skills: needs to be able to structure and guide complex analytics using scheduling, financial, patient experience, and call center data to support project needs; • Presentation skills: capable of developing and writing complex presentations for any audience using multiple formats; • Client relationship skills: able to build peer-like relationships with senior executives and provide critical thought partnership on intellectual/organizational/political questions; • Project management skills: capable of leading large enterprise teams of senior stakeholders efficiently through process to manage relationship work or complete projects; • Team/office leadership: capable of inspiring teams of people to achieve results; accountability for Office culture. Ability to lead strategic projects, including design, analysis of data and presentation to senior leadership is preferred.
