Description

 Project Manager (Quality & Continuous Improvement) 


At Tailored Label Products (TLP), we design and manufacture high-performance labeling solutions for demanding industrial and technical applications. As we continue to grow, we are adding a Project Manager (Quality & Continuous Improvement) to lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen our quality systems, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects, cases, and teams at the same time, and can independently drive initiatives from start to finish while setting a high standard for execution.


You will report to the Manager of Project Delivery and partner closely with teams across Quality, Operations, Engineering, and beyond to deliver meaningful, lasting improvements.


Role Overview


The Project Manager (Quality & Continuous Improvement) is responsible for leading and executing a wide variety of projects across the business, often managing multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously. This role blends project management, process improvement, and collaboration, ensuring initiatives are not only completed, but fully implemented, adopted, and sustained.


Key Responsibilities


1. Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead multiple projects and cross functional teams simultaneously, from initial scoping through full implementation.
  • Independently drive project execution, removing roadblocks and ensuring progress without the need for constant direction.
  • Track progress using KPIs and data driven insights to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Own projects from start to finish, including training, communication, and post launch adoption to ensure long term success.
  • Set clear standards for project execution and lead by example in driving accountability and results.

2. Quality Systems & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to align on quality requirements and expectations.
  • Support audit activities and ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

3. Process Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a fast, paced, evolving environment.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action efforts (CAPA), turning insights into scalable solutions.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain organized, audit ready documentation, including project plans, SOPs, and quality records.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal and external compliance standards. he Manager of project Delivery, the Quality Project Manager leads initiatives for the Quality department and the broader company, and is responsible for helping to identify, scope, and guide to completion projects that improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement (CI).

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of project management experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and influence without authority.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing competing priorities.
