QUICK SUMMARY:
Looking to step into a leadership role where you can truly impact operations? Prototek is hiring a CNC Operations Manager to lead our machining team, drive efficiency, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run day-to-day CNC operations across 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe machining
Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and machinists
Own production schedules and ensure on-time delivery
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with leadership to optimize workflow, staffing, and performance
Build a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor

REQUIREMENTS: (Preferred too)

5–10+ years of manufacturing or production management experience
5+ years of CNC machining and/or programming experience (3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe)
Strong knowledge of high-tolerance machining and GD&T
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced machining or job shop environment
Familiarity with ERP systems (MIE Trak preferred) and Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Degree in Manufacturing, Machining, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
