Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician I will work under the direct supervision of the Sr. Maintenance Tech, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager, providing troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and installation support for new and existing manufacturing equipment, facility equipment, and devices. Provide on-line maintenance support. Maintain all safety standards. Shift: Mon-Thurs – 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Fri. 7:00 AM-11 AM with some OT on Friday 

 

Duties

  • Learns to diagnose defects and damages pertaining to production equipment or anything related to the facility. Collaborates in the decision-making process to repair them. 
  • Suggests on the opportunity to do the repairs internally or to submit them to external specialists. 
  • Learns to repair the equipment or supervise vendors and contractors' work. This activity may involve the fabrication of new components. 
  • Converses with equipment operators to troubleshoot problems with equipment before breakdown and to determine if the breakdown is due to human error or a mechanical problem. 
  • Learn to replace defective components and wiring and adjust mechanical parts using the appropriate hand tools. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications 

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED. 

  • 1+ years of related work experience (automatic packaging equipment, electrical, mechanical, and electronics). 

 

Pay range for this opportunity is $24.70/hr - $26.56/hr. [ACTION REQUIRED - REMOVE IF NOT APPLICABLE:] This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
